Accessing and Replacing the Nozzle Retainer Assembly

Tools Needed: None

Follow along as we replace the Venturi fin and retainer on the front duct assembly of a FlowZone® Vortex Flex™ battery powered mist blower attachment. Note: The nozzle and gasket are not included with the purchase of a nozzle retainer assembly.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

STEP 1: Remove the Nozzle Retainer Assembly

1. Remove the retainer on the front duct assembly by twisting it counter-clockwise. Set it aside for later.
2. Remove the venturi fins inside the front duct assembly.

Note: Tilt the unit forward to avoid losing the washer and nozzle inside the unit.

STEP 2: Reinstall the Nozzle Retainer Assembly with the Replacement Parts

1. Place the nozzle and washer inside the replacement venturi fin. Make sure the nozzle tip is facing outwards.
2. Thread the replacement fins into the unit.
3. Secure the replacement retainer to the front duct assembly.

Note: Set the nozzle in a vertical or horizontal position based on your intended usage.
